Dave G had choice and went for strength in numbers. Nick, in his innocence, picked youth and exuberance, whilst Dave G went for age and experience.

The extra man paid off, and the yellows found it hard to break through whites 3-3-1 formation.

The whites enjoyed the pleasure of having six men going forward, ( how often are we likely to see Dave Woods going up front to take corners from both sides ? )

The final score was 3-0 to the whites, with three cracking goals from Andy, Harvey, and a special rocket by Chris, from a very sharp angle on the right.

All this being carefully orchestrated in a quietly spoken voice, giving guidance, and positional sense, and sound advice, by Captain Dave G in goal, clapping his hands to celebrate each goal, and keep his hands warm.
