On a humid evening another great turn out orchestrated by Davey Woods on the WhatsApp.

Battle of the Foreheads commenced, with Blake and Richie selected captains for the evening to fight it out for Losers Trophy that lies ahead.

Blake won first pick so I got choice of shirts, my yellow keeps shrinking in the wash so I opted for white as its a bit 'stretchy-er'

Yellows - Blake, Aussie, Beard, Hackett, Syndrome, Chris, Smithy, Alistair
Whites - Richie, Doc Brown, Mike, Neil, Ross, Gary, Mac & Mac.

The captains played it safe and both remained in goal for 30 minutes.

Mac went in for the whites and let in 2 spazzy efforts (he will no doubt defend himself here but there is really no need) Decided upon himself to go back out and play up front. Ross scored, Gary scored, Mac scored a hat trick!

2 nil down to 5-2 up.

Blake showed me his bell end on the 48th minute, this initially blinded me and drove me on to win.

Great game from both sides, end to end, but finishing is clinical to the modern fast game and today was Mac Seniors day. Everyone put in a massive shift but MOM has to be Mac, involved in everything whether in our penalty area or the opposite. he can let 6 goals in as long as he scores 7.

Not bad for a man turning 70 next year.
