Odds and evens!
There were lots of even things - even sides, good performances from both sides, 2 very good goals per side, score line even for most of the game, Bob clattered Gary, Paul clattered Bob! A shame about the odd 3 goals that went in for whites at the end!
Yellow's scored first - a David Silva like though pass from Ben finished with aplomb by Dave O. White soon levelled - great diagonal ball from Neil, great control and finish by Gary. Replica great goal from the Ben/Dave combo, followed by goal mouth scramble at the other end and I think nudged home by Mac.
2-2 for a long time both sides looking for a winner, another goal mouth scramble saw Gary put Yellow's ahead. White's pressed but caught on the break twice with a notable finish from Gary lobbing Ken to finish the hat trick. Mac finished it off late on.
We had a German Euro 16 moment with Paul performing the Schweinsteiger-Boateng vertical arabesque movement with both hands in the box. Shame our rules only provide for a corner! MOM Gary.
