Match Report
Written by Harvey BairdMark and I were captain again for the second week (both back from injuries and no complaining about being captains, take note). With uneven sides again decided to gamble that Mark would play some of the game in goal and decided to go with first pick and pick a side with as much running as possible. Oh well plan failed.
Another excellent and close game. The pitch was always going to feel big with 6 against 7 but both sides put plenty of effort into the game and with no lack of skill. My side opened the game on the front foot and only for some good goalkeeping could have easily been a couple of goals up within 15minutes. As it was we could only score one goal and Mark's team slowly came back into the game and scored the next four goals. They looked to be cruising to victory until Neil cross come shot dropped into the net (goals change games) and within the next 5/10minutes my team scored another couple of goals to level the score. If Chris had brought his shooting boots like last week then the we could have even put out noise in front with time running out. As it was 4-4 was a fair results. Excellent and fair game (not like the other pitch).
Well played everyone.
