What can I say about the game. A really good, equal and competitive game of football. All aspects of what makes the plus 30 a successful club, good passing football, good goalkeeping, dodge goalkeeping, the odd late tackle, injuries, a poor goal, an excellent goal and a Hackett handball.

I have to mention Mac performance in goal in the first 20 minutes, not that he mentioned it at all during the night. He somehow seemed to move the wrong way and get himself between the ball and goal to make several saves. Overall the game was very well balanced, Dave's team controlled the first 10 to 15 minutes and they had plenty of corners and a couple of shots (did I mention that Mac saved a couple of goal bound shots). My team slowly came into the game with some good football and goal bound shots. The deadlock was broken by an unfortunate mistake by Dave who dropped the the ball between his legs and into the goal. The second goal was far better with some slick passing down the pitch ending with Ben finishing from a tight angle. Thereafter, both sides had chances but no one managed to add to the goal tally.

Overall a well balanced game of football which my team managed to win 2-0 but it could have easily been the other way round.

Did I mention Mac played well in goal in the first 20 minutes.
