Second game of paired couples for qualification to the Captains Cup.

First game Noel had choice and won 5-1.

I know it doesn’t always pan out but I thought the game was decided in the changing room.

7 a side and I had first pick GARY

Then poor Noel was always one player behind.

Before KO I called a huddle and a pep talk. The effect was instant. 30 sec after KO Gary nets with a team wonder goal. 

The pressure was relentless 15mins in 2-0 . Then the turning point Ali hits the post, what a big let off for me, maybe it’s my night. 

I called half time because of the wind.

Magnificent defending from the Whites but the pressure told 

Final score 7-1 

Hats of to the Whites, never gave up, never complained, a credit to what this club is all about. Special mention for young Ben he kept going under difficult conditions he will be a real asset to the Club when his grandmother teaches how to kick with his left foot. 

MOM tough call.
