On a fine Wednesday evening, 15 brave or foolish souls turned out in the sweltering heat. 

I decided to go for first choice over the extra man which I imagine for those on my team was not a popular choice but did not complain, at least not to my face anyway.

It was a very even game throughout with the deadlock broken in the second half when Andy M managed to escape down the right wing before squaring the ball, through my legs, leaving Sheeny to calmly place the ball into now vacated goal. Yellows quickly struck back, another marauding run by Neil from left back cut the ball back to big bro Gary who out his laces through the ball from long range. 

One a piece is how it finished and gave me4-2 win over the two legs. Everyone worked extremely hard in very difficult conditions and thank you to whose in yellow who continued to battle throughout. 

There were a few I could give MoM to. Gary constantly making himself available to launch attacks and that strike but I am going to give it to Paul who had a fine game as centre back and then finally out those hands to use in the correct, replacing me a keeper late .
