A very good game last night end to end on a wet surface made it entertaining. 

Whites just shaded the first quarter with good passing and movement but rued several missed chances when Dave made a run down left and hit a decent shot past Harvey making a welcome return in goal 1.0 Yellows. 

Nothing between the teams over the next 30min good play all round solid defending with few chances, oh a nice hand ball also!. Then whites broke at pace with Gary loving the space I made the run and after a slide rule pass slotted pass Steve in goal 1.1.

The last quarter was more open either team could have won it Mac made a couple of great saves least of all from my son who hit a cracker in the last min only to come off the post. Ironic both captains scored a goal each so then Pens and I didn't hold much hope with my keeping skills!!, how right I was Dave through to next round after me missing in sudden death.

MOM, hard decision all played well and worked hard but choice down to Neil or Geoff who were both excellent at the back, Geoff shaded it
