Numbers down this week from the consistent 20 players turning up, so a little more room to manoeuvre. I was expecting goals! … and goals are what we got. 

There are a lot to remember, but I recall that most shots we had found their way into the back of the net. I started with two, then Mac, Ross, Andy M and Sylvain bagging the rest.

The game was controlled in the midfield, with Yellows having a tough time getting past the patrolling Sylvain and the tireless Andy and Ross. The most difficult problem the Whites had was finding ways to stay warm whilst stood around in goal. We opted to keep rotating the keeper, the Yellows caught onto this and eventually scored a long range effort just after kick off whilst our keeper was still changing over! A nice effort, so I’m not going to argue that one, (even if the goalkeeper was facing toward his own goal, wearing one glove! :D)

Neil followed up late on, to blast a shot past Mike into the bottom corner.

Final score, 8 - 1 … ok ok, 8 - 2.

M.O.M - Andy M. - Sylvain had a great game, never stopped running and always available. Though had it not been for his arse, we would have had 9, so Man of the Match is Andy M, who got a goal, provided at least 5 assists and more than likely a few pre-assists as well.
