Time for the second leg of the tie and 8 a side was not a straightforward pick, even with the advantage of first pick. To sum it up, Ali went for pace and legs and I went for experience and guile.
The decision worked as we managed to carve out a 3-0 lead within about 20 mins. The first goal came from a pinpoint corner from Sylvain which Andy E headed in at the far post. The next two goals came fine Sylvain assists from the wing with Andy E and Richie providing the finishes.
After such an excellent start though, we tired and Richie went from a maraudering forward to a static anchor in an already congested midfield (I said "anchor")!
The pressure built however we weren't really tested in front of goal with the only consolation coming from a long range effort from Ben which Chris managed to turn in at the far post.
To use a cliché it was a game of two sides - one that took their chances, and, one that didn't create any.
