Harvey 'bullshit' Baird told me, prior to kick off, that its the responsibility of the winning captain to write the match report and captains have to play in nets all game, hence the reason I based my performance on Jordon Pickford. I should win an Oscar! Therefore with obsolute loathing of stuff like this, I plotted to surreptitiously throw the game to avoid putting pen to paper. So now on my belated birthday weekend away... with all the trimmings..I have to get this report in 'by midnight Sunday' .. So Harvey told me with a winning smirk, after the final whistle...Crafty C*#t! 

I hear the EU have drafted him in for the final negotiations!

Limited numbers, uneven sides, so much closer than the scoreline suggests, (Harvey told me that before he dropped the mix up in the match report ownership bombshell..) 

Reality check! My tactics and goalkeeping were shite.. and to be fair the boys juggled themselves into an order that suited us to give a worthy account of ourselves and had we taken all our chances or I been in goal for them, things would have been much different. 

Not taking anything away from our opposition.. who had a man advantage.. They had footballers throughout.. I likened them to the Arsenal invisibles.. Ugly..  Their defence was solid, Sprinkle of quality in midfield  and a Ginger Roy of the Rovers..  Not so much the Romford Pele rather the Bromborough ball ache ....... I honestly didn't see the first goal.. passed me before I knew anything about it.. Opticians appointment booked!
