League challenge for bragging rights. 

Richie v Blake.

Strange how the two huge games are played in the same week.

Strange how the two better performers spank the opposition in their own back yard.

First and foremost thanks to Blake and his team for turning up. 

Even sides and Richie won the toss to get first pick.

After blagging Blake that some of the new boys were crap Richie continued to select the likes of Cush knowing he was a player after Blake listened to Richie’s comments. 

After 30 years of knowing each other surely he would have learned.

Despite a late request from Richie to have an extension of time to present the report unfortunately the report is brief.

Despite even sides Richie’s yellows dominated the entire game from start to finish.

Blake and his bulbs folded early doors and the yellows continued to defend strongly and counter attack aggressively. 

Cush Tom Gary Nick all scored with brilliant pressing work leading up to precise finishing.

Johnny and Gary distributed consolation goals but the dominance was too much. 

Always a pleasure to see Johnny's head fall off regularly when the game isn’t going to plan.

Always a pleasure to see Blake shoot terribly and Gary clear the 50 metre fences.

Hampson fitted right in with his debut pulling up after 12 minutes with a strain. 

Hopefully a speedy recovery. 

7-2 thrashing. Could have been 14-2.

Good luck to Blake in the return leg. He will need it. 

Great all round performance by the yellows.

Man of the match a tough one but will go with Tom for consistency.
