First game between me and Bren and I had choice. 15 to choose from so I went for the extra man. And the yellows started really well on a freezing cold January night. 

I went in goal and stayed there for the game as the lads put in a brilliant shift. 2 at the back Neil and Nick where really solid. We couldn't make the extra man count in the early stages but had a breakthrough with a neatly taken curler by Gary W breaking the deadlock. 1 nil yellows. 

I have to give it to the whites who played like a team who had had a man sent off. The got an equaliser through some quick passing and the other Gary got a goal 1 - 1. 

At this point my hands and feet were freezing. Could have done with a run out but it wouldn't have had much of an effect on a really tight game. Well played all. Great game of footy and a nice pint after in the new post footy boozer.
