We went ahead quickly in the game through a goal from Chris. After a tussle with the defender, the ball bounced up in his favour, he sidestepped the defender and struck a magnificent volley passed Ken. 1 - 0.

Then the rest was a bit of a blur. Chris and Ali contributing to some well worked goals.

At about 4 - 0 a ball was sent down the wing to Ali which looked as though it was going out for a goal kick. Ken came out of his goal to see it out of play, yet Ali somehow, I still don't know how he managed to, just before the ball went out of play between the post and the corner flag, managed to slide the ball around Ken and across the line.

It was pretty much game over from that point. Being about 5 - 0. Yet the whites never gave up and continued to press throughout the game. Woodsy having a stint up front too. A sight which hasn't been witnessed since 1965. Blake and Ben had a couple of boomers from long range which Dave G was exceptional at keeping out.

Well done to the yellows for an exceptional game. Commiserations to whites who tried hard throughout to give us a good match.
