Cush 6 Chris 3: Chris progresses into the next round of the Duffers Cup....

The addition of a number of high quality guests seen a nine goal thriller this week. Johnny opened the scoring after a bout of possession up the field... 1-0. Whites were solid at the back with a hint of parking the bus going on. Yellows pushed more up the pitch and whites took advantage on the counter with a world class (fluke) top corner back header from Tom... 1-1. 

In the pub after Johnny insisted his Maradona turn goal was highlighted in the match report- shame it was an own goal though... 2-1 yellows. 

Nick found himself isolated at the back and a high press presented Dave with an easy one on one finish... 2-2. 

Tom put Whites in the lead when presented with an easy header from some shite goalkeeping... 2-3. 

It was at this point Ritchie decided to turn up. Jamie equalised finishing a brilliant full pitch counter... 3-3. 

Ritchie nearly put us ahead with a ridiculous acrobatic effort- he put more effort into that overhead kick than he did into the first 40mins of the game! Johnny then put us in the lead to complete his fake hattrick and our legs in midfield  then made the difference... 4-3. 

Nathan scored next prompting a great shout from Jay "he's a great striker for a left back!"... 5-3. A final counter attack ended in Jamie scoring his 2nd whilst crashing into the back post for his tap in... 6-3. I'm not going to mention Gary W's awful shooting... or lack of pub attendance again.
