Final trophy of the season and it was me v Richie for the Duffers cup. The sides where very even so this looked like a good game on paper.

The yellows started well and whites were looking a bit shaky early on. Some great packages of play and the yellows got the first goal through Jay.

Richie having not played for a few weeks forgot that we don't bother changing halves, insisted we switch ends. This was good for us and a change of formation moving Chris into midfield made the whites a bit more compact. Ross got us a goal and we were back in it. Both sides could have won it only for some fine saves from Bren keeping us in the game.

After 60 minutes it was all even so we went penalties to decide the game. After 5 pen's it was even again so on to sudden death. Richie saved, pushing onto the bar then scored his next pen. I think it was 8 pen's each. Great shootout I must say, so I was gutted to end with the loss. Well done to Richie, a great game.
