Despite months out injured my focus has been on preparing and delivering and executing the best plus 30 fc social event since the birth of the club in 1923 (coincidentally when Everton last won a trophy)

Surprised to be asked to captain against a younger fresher John, who clearly is a much better footballer, this club is getting more corrupt than Qatar.

My tactics were quickly in hand, deciding to go strong in midfield and build a team around me in goal, and as the performance and result showed I absolutely smashed it.

A physical and fast paced game throughout, end to end, with both captains clearly playing for the win, myself keeping a clean sheet with grobelaar esque clowning around and John.......conceding 3!

Brilliant goals from Gary Wong, Dave and Cush to seal the win and secure the points for the yellows.

I'd like to thank the whites and Jonny for turning up...!

Few big performances for player of the match, Nathan clearly a star at this game and Cush was outstanding, but for me Harvey was superb, safe calm and collective throughout.
