With the first game finishing 2-2, a replay was required to sort out who was to progress to the next round of the Captains Cup. There was a good turn out with 23 turning up on this bright, hot evening. Paul, Neil and Carl (3 giants of the game, or maybe 2) stepped down.

The sides were picked well, with both teams having early chances. The yellows goalpost saved them on a couple of occasions, whilst at the whites end it wasn't the woodwork that stopped the goals going in, but Ken. In his attempt to get out of the way of the bombardment of shots that were raining in on him. He was blocking everything. The deciding goal was not a classic, but was a fine header from Mark, wrong footing me in goal. Both teams continued to have chances, but there were not going to be anymore goals to take it to another replay.
