With the end of the season in sight and Nathan 6 points clear at the top of the league, it would take a slip up greater than the Liverpool 2013-14 season to catch up to him. Which brings us to tonight's s game.
When hearing that I was going to be captain the stress and worry began. It very quickly changed to confidences and joy when I found out I was picking against James. James had choice and chose first choice over having the extra player. A choice that appeared to decide the game.
In a stunning display of dominance, the whites emerged victorious with a final score of 7-1. The white's attack was relentless throughout the match, with Nathan scoring a hat-trick and Jamie adding two more goals to their tally. The yellows defense struggled to keep up with the pace and intensity of the white's offense, despite a brief moment of hope when Gary managed to score a consolation goal. Overall, it was a commanding performance by the whites and a well-deserved victory.
MOTM goes to Laurie. Solid down the left hand side throughout the match.
Good luck in the Duffers James.
