Another lack in numbers meant that it was only 6 a side this week and this led to me and Jay being captains in the duffers cup.

Me being a lower seed than him meant I got first pick and as the picks went on I was baffled by jays choices, made up for mine.

The game started and the yellows dominated, and that didn’t really change as the match went on, we took an early  lead with a few goals  and then a shot from Nick S, saved by myself but palmed into Dave’s path led to a goal for the whites and then  Jay chipped me from his own half and scored to give the whites a glimmer of hope.

The yellows then turned the pressure back on and it was a fantastic watch from the goal as they cruised to the victory, meaning I’m finally out of the duffers!

Good luck to Jay in the rest of the cup and My MOM could have gone to anyone on the yellows, including Richie! But I’m going to give it to Cush, 4 goals from defence and just a solid performance.
