Due to the lack of a game, a bit of match fixing was required by Gary and I ended up picking against Blake. I knew it would be a tough game but I didn't expect to be picking it out of my own net more times than throwing the ball out. I think it was Blake scored first with a decent shot to the bottom corner from the edge of the area. Followed quickly by a crap fumble by me to put it on a plate for Ali and then Chris made it 3-0. At that point I begged someone to put me out of my misery in net and Bob stepped up.

Gary scored first for us getting on the end of a hopeful ball into the box by me to kick start the fight back. The second half was a great game for the whites and we piled on the pressure. I can't remember exactly but I think Neil and someone else scored for Yellow, Mark got 2 and Gary got 3. Final score 5-5 - a hell of a fight back for the whites (thanks guys) and Blake looked suitably sick at the end of it! Hats off to Mark and Ben who never stopped working in midfield, Gary had another good game and Terry was fantastic at center back.

Another 1st round captains cup tied game leads us to wonder if we'll ever see a second round game. Bob suggested any tied cup game should be decided post match by a coin toss and I'm inclined to agree.
