1st pick allowed me opportunity to chose a balance of experience and flare. The ever reliable Harvey and Bri at the back with Tom supporting as centre back and a balanced midfield with Gary W, Jamie and Cush allowing Richie with his man beard to cause havoc up front. 

James team included the extra man, but I was very happy with my selection, unfortunately it seemed my selection weren’t happy with me or the same selection. 

Rarely has a game been played when a contender for MoM is the actual mitre match ball. It seemed determined to split, bounce, spin and roll in favour of the whites. I’m certain that the extra man had a remote control attached to that ball. 

Nicks header apart, all the goals were easily avoidable but the footy gods determined that the lucky bounce or deflection would result in a goal. 

Fair play to the whites who played a simple game and managed to control the play throughout. I knew after the first three goals in the first 3 minutes that this was going to be a long night. Battered bruised but still at the pub! Good luck Jay in the next round.
