After an absence of two months being asked to pick on my return was a bit of a shock.
Teams as per the results page - or were they?
Against my normal practise after winning the toss I elected for the first pick and after we arrived at the pitch it appears Mark had been missed off the picking board. Nick suggested he came on my side to level them up ....oops!
The first 30 mins were like the Alamo in their goal mouth with Mark scoring one & assisting in Blake's finish for the second.
The last 15 mins were like the Alamo in our goal mouth when Geoff came out of their defence but sterling performances by Blake,Mark,Carl,Terry,&Bob kept them at bay.
If you think one of them has to be man of the match - wrong it has to be the magnanimous Dr Brown
For the record I do feel uneasy but hey ho onwards & upwards!
