7 a side and I saw Ed on the checked in list so I knew I’d be captain and the dreaded picking would fall to me.

I went for the double champ first pick and I don’t regret it. All the team worked hard and we took an early lead from Gary P and then absorbed a lot of pressure from the yellows who did eventually equalise through Tom's poaching skills.

I’d say the game was pretty even and both teams left it all out there pushing for the win. Whites took the lead again from a well worked move with Harvey supplying the finish. All agreed in the changing room afterwards that he’s met his quota for the season. Tom managed to ruin our evening again by equalising and then we felt a lot of pressure to cling on at the end with Andy making sure the keeper knew where his posts were with the last kick of the game.
