Picking is always a compromise as you never get what you want.The lack of septegenarians meant there were no goalkeepers and Nick & I both decided to play in goal fortunately I had track suit bottoms & a fleece!
It had the be the closest game of the season to day with chances for both sides not taken until with 2 mins to go a - john barnesesque flick from Bob hit the net.
The last 2 mins were manic with Laurie heading off the line from a Geoff header & our goal looking like the Alamo
However it remained 1-0 . All to play for in the next round.
