The eagle eyed amongst you will see that not too many turned out & we only just had a game.
This in turn made the picking somewhat difficult and I ended up with an offensive team and only Carl in defence.
Gary scored for us early on and there followed some forty minutes of nail-biting as the energetic Dave didn't stop running to try to equalise.
Eventually we scored again at about 48 minutes on the clock which tore the heart out of the opposition and we scored another 3 in the last few minutes. A score line that does really reflect the game but who cares I needed the win!
Thanks to all in my team for superb performances even if my wingbacks were more wing than back at times.
I would have broken with tradition and said Dave was MOM but in truth nothing got past Carl who was steadfast at the back so Carl is my MOM.
The agony continues!
