It was mid-August, it was cold, it was wet and nights were already drawing in. I had lost the last 3 games, I was forced to pick against my Dad last week and got battered...somehow. I was close to bailing. Then I went round to see my new born niece. I looked in to her eyes for the first time and everything was ok...or so I thought. If babies could talk I am pretty sure she would have said. "Don't go, you will have to pick...again, you will lose again. You are a Loser!"

To be fair, it was a good game, it was open and flowing. Some great goals, some very funny ones. Highlights for me were: 
- Marks face when he slipped in a sly shot past a 99 year old 
- Si's laugh we he purposely uses Dave Woods to deflect the ball into the goal 
- Terrys face after he got flawed for the 3rd time 

The game ended 4 all. After 10 minutes of the golden goal there was still no winner. Andy winged that it was getting late and his joints were aching. We decided the game on penalties to help Andy out. 

All penalties were average. Bobs was undescribable. I can't even remember who scored the winner and I don't give a f*ck either.

Still, I'm looking forward to receiving the Duffers Cup in October. I have never won it before
